  • .NET / MVC Developer

    The Senior .Net Application Developer is responsible for helping build the Web Application.  This person will be responsible for small and large development projects to help push our software forward.  They will help support the technical architecture and work toward developing new products and solutions.  Working with the internal CRM team as well as clients, the Senior .Net Application Developer ensures that business, application support, and technical requirements are identified and met over the project life cycle from concept to implementation.  This individual will provide industry best practices for integration and application development, deployment, and iterative refinement. 

    Essential Functions:

    • Take requirements created by the business teams to build out the application:
    • Development and test new software as part of our overall CRM application.
    • Fix and maintain current code that is part of our current web application
    • Identify technical issues and provide resolution
    • Work iteratively with engineering and database developers to ensure solution is both ‘fit for purpose’, complete, affordable, and can be implemented using resources available in the time required
    • Assist with data modeling, process flow analysis and definition and refinement of business processes
    • Design and develop advanced ETL jobs and routines to process data from multiple sources into centralized warehouses
    • Collaborate with CRM & IS teams to plan and implement Project and Service Requests. Responsibilities include: functional and technical design, configuration, system testing, coordinating user testing, implementation and post-implementation support.
    • Provide architectural advice and guidance to development and application support. Credibly describes and demonstrates how solutions address business challenges and opportunities
    • Work with other teams and core database engineers to develop business specific data marts and reporting aggregation strategies. 

    Minimum Job Requirements

    Education:

    Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or other related field or equivalent experience.

    Experience:

    • Experience with Team Foundation Server
    • Experience with the full stack (Windows, SQL Server, IIS, MVC etc.)
    • Full Stack Microsoft development background (.NET with C#, and VB)
    • Experience developing .NET MVC Web Applications
    • SQL Server 2008 and higher, building stored procedures and writing queries
    • Experience with Silverlight
    • Experience with Telerik Controls a bonus
    • HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3
    • CRM experience is a plus.

    • Establish the company’s technical vision and leads all aspects of the company’s technological development.
    • Implement the Product Vision from a technical and development perspective.  Share in ownership of the Product Vision with other members of the Executive Team.
    • Determine the tools, technology and platforms to be used.
    • Works in a consultative fashion with other department heads, such as marketing, sales, account management and operations as an advisor of technologies that may improve their efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Is passionate about using the voice of the customer to drive the product roadmap
    • Manages technology, security, data breach, and other risks for the company
    • Responsible to speak with external parties at a C-level including industry analysts, market research firms, investors, prospects, customers, regulators, partners, and others. 
    • Conducts research and case studies on leading edge technologies and makes determinations on the probability of implementation.
    • Acts as a good steward of resources and ensures control of IT and IO departmental budgets.
    • Represent the technological agenda in staff meetings and when making hiring decisions
    • Maintain current knowledge of technology landscape and developments
    • Track, analyze and monitor technology performance metrics
    • Identify new areas of digital marketing opportunities and create plans to implement them for us and our clients
    • Take the initiative in thought leadership, innovation and creativity
    • Spearhead IT projects to increase our market reach and improve our USP
    • Oversee all system design and changes in system architecture
    • Prioritizes and maintains schedules for platform enhancement, bugs, and all technical team work
    • Responsible and accountable for security of all technology assets

    Ideal Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Key skills include:
      • Strong web development experience
      • History of building complex web applications
      • Hands on ability to code and develop software applications
    • Strong Database Experience including:
      • Large Multi-Tenant Database
      • Data processing systems
      • Marketing Database systems
    • Ideally the candidate will have experience with .Net, the Microsoft Stack and MVC frameworks
    • Ideally the candidate will have knowledge of or experience in machine learning
    • Strong project management and organizational skills
    • Have led teams of sophisticated and experienced engineers.

    Requirements:

            BA/BS or equivalent work experience

            3-5+ years of recent work experience creating digital marketing content and programs for vendors to key target markets

            Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it

            Experience supporting product marketing and sales collateral activities

            Intermediate or Advanced experience with Wordpress, Themes, and Plugins including Yoast SEO, Revolution Slider, SEO Redirection, and others

            Experience with Hubspot, Salesforce and the top social channels

            Excellent written and verbal communication skills

            Being highly adaptable and having flexibility for working in an ever changing, fast-paced environment is a must

            Excellent time management and project management skills required
