  • (MID) Filemaker Pro Application Developer

    FileMaker Pro (Mid) Application Developer


    Our client in Golden is looking for a FileMaker Pro database development and implementation by providing cross platform testing (Mac and PC) and development in FileMaker Pro as well as provide some training to Environment Safety, Health and Quality (ESH&Q) staff. This is a contract role and will run until the end of December with a possible extension.


          Job duties and responsibilities of the position: Duties shall include, but not be limited to:

    ·       FileMaker Pro development support

    ·       Needs to be able to create layouts, write scripts, and manage entity relationship diagrams in FileMaker Pro. At least two years of experience in using FileMaker Pro to develop application databases

    ·       Must work with internal customers to understand data needs and potential solutions

    ·       Problem cause analysis across multiple interrelated systems.

    ·       Responsible for testing and improving the user experience across platforms including multiple browsers, OS X, and Windows.

    ·       Responsible for providing software quality assurance to ensure code is sustainable and easily maintained.

    ·       Development of application user manuals.


    Required Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

    -          Associate's degree with 5 years of relevant computer and development experience or similar technical discipline or vocational training.

    -          3-5 years of FileMaker Pro development experience

    -          Demonstrated experience in using FileMaker Pro database software to design user solutions.  Must be able to design new solutions and understand existing solutions.



    Preferred Qualifications:

    ·       Direct experience in designing, developing, and implementing software tools in FileMaker Pro.

    ·       Experience with UUID driven data solutions, including real-time integration with UUID master data sets.

    ·       Experience designing application user interfaces.

    ·       Education and/or experience with Environment, Safety and Health systems and processes (ex. Lockout/tagout, safety assessments, hazard identification etc.)

    ·       Experience in creating software quality assurance documentation and tracking issue progress towards resolution.

    This position will work on a cross-disciplinary research project in web-application development and visualization of spatial and temporal data to help solve real world energy system design problems.And focus on creating new capabilities and online tools to analyze scenarios and design solutions for complex challenges in sustainable energy development.


    The successful candidate will help to implement visualization

    Duties will include:

                         Integrating multiple data sources, models, and software tools with scientific and engineering workflows for decision support and data analysis.

                         Creating visualization interfaces that enable real-time examination of design scenarios remotely through web- based frameworks to allow for design processes by stakeholders around the world.


    Duties shall include, but not be limited to:

                   The primary job duty will front-end or full-stack development work on a geospatial data framework. Interact with a team of about 6 other developers and analysts also working on this platform to develop         applications.  Teamwork is critical in this role.



                         Demonstrated work experience in front-end web frameworks, with preference for Ember and React. Please send any available links to work samples and Github repositories.

            Collaborate with other zvelo analysts to test detection of exploits and botnets across both IoT and BYoD devices

            Review accuracy of detected device profiles and implement signatures for newly detected devices

            Review log files of the zvelo IoT Security solution for anomalous activity using UNIX/Linux tools such as grep, sed, cut and awk

            Develop automation tools for ensuring device profile repository is up to date with latest devices

            Develop new proof of concepts for the future versions of the zvelo IoT Security product

            Create and establish testing plans/guidelines to perform data validations to ensure accuracy of malicious detection systems.

            Collaborates with other teams such as Engineering, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence using the zvelo’s agile development methodology to help define requirements, create design specifications, and determine KPIs for effective detection, reduce false positives and other performance benchmarks.


    The following would be ideal:

            Experience working cross-functionally with teams such as dev-ops, product management, and business development
