If the initial employment data released Wednesday proves true, then Colorado's job growth may be slowing.
And, considering the unwieldy state of the real estate market, that might not be completely negative, the chief economist for the state labor department says.
Colorado employers added 4,200 jobs in April, according to employment estimates released Wednesday by the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment. Of the 4,200 jobs added, 3,000 were private-sector positions and 1,200 were government posts.
